Given the wild popularity of the Baked Potato for a buck exhibit at the Fair, I can only assume that the overwhelming majority of people simply have no idea how to bake a potato.

If people did know how to bake a potato, why would they spend a dollar on a food item they can make at home with ease ????

For those who might be tubularly challenged ...

Wrong assumption.

Why bake your own when someone else can do it for you?

Ya know, at first I was a little surprised that someone would actually build a website explaining how to bake a friggin potato. But then I hoped that maybe it was someones first website, and the result was more important to them than the content.

What really did surprise me, is that the one thing that may have been useful would have been to list some toppings that people use on their potatoes! Hey, I'm willing to try (almost)anything once!

Oh, yeah...I remember that.

The line used to go out the building.

I thought it was crazy to wait that long for a free potato.

found many cats at the fair grounds. There are alot in the horse barns and one in the womans building this year. One of my friends traps them and get them their shots, alters and tests them and then puts them back out if she can. If not then they are found a home. Most of them are feral.

No cats for me last night. It was very very wet and the light colored tshirt was in full force. Sorry no naked anything last night. I had a chicken speidie at the Dino and of course a lemonade.

couldn't stop looking at peoples feet hoping to come across a barefoot pair but didn't see any. The young kids would have thought that was so cool and complained that I didn't let them walk around barefoot. They complained about having to wear sneaks instead of flip flops.
