I am pleased to report that after 3 tries, we finally were able to get the shipment delivered to the buyer and money has exchanged hands.
Every ten feet at the Fair, you can buy beer. Wine. however, obviously containing a different kind of alcohol than beer, is limited in its sale and consumption to the wine patio. Spend $7 on a wine slushie and you MUST drink it on the spot. Signs and security prevent any escapes.
It was beginning to look like this is the first year in many that i was not going to have a wine slushie because i refused to be a prisoner to that patio. Twice people tried to smuggle one out to me and twice the shipments were intercepted.
Today, it worked. Creating a masterful distraction, my maddog englishman friend showed the american's how smugglers work and brought me my wine slushie. Given the risk and the cost, the slushie was marked up significantly in price. Worth every penny.
Now, I can get drunk. FINALLY. |
