the beginning of the end has started. The day has just started and already it is over. Saturday Sunday and then Monday. What the hell am I going to do when Labor Day is a memory? I guess I just have to go back to my other job until I can rat at the Fair once again. I wonder if Judge Piggie feels the same way bout slipping back into his costume.

I do not understand what it is with people and beer. Personally, I have never been a fan of beer. I have drank my share of beer but not in a long time. Beer does weird things to me and so I mostly avoid it if I can.

Beer is a man-made product; as compared to marijuana which is from the hand of God. I watch people with their beers at the Fair and dang, they be some ugly folks. They yell, and they fight. They spill and they fight. They stagger about and they fight. All night last night ... I watched beer drinkers fight.

And after the Fair was closed, and this rat came out of his hole, at every restaurant where they served beer, was a mess like I have not seen since the Fair started. Judge Pig would shed his skin in honor of the real pigs who stink up the Fairgrounds with their beer and beer farts. Empty beer cups by the pound laying in a memorial wreath to the Homer Simpsons of the Fair.

I just dont get this drug. There has to be something that gives you just as good a buzz without all the residual mess.

Speaking of beer ... I had the chance to see the ultimate of stereotypes yesterday. Musta been 2 dozen very drunken Native Americans parked at the restaurant next door ... drinking very heavily and getting very rowdy. Then came the State Police. Then came some very dangerous looking armed federal types. The crowd was disbursed and life returned to the bizarre.

I am totally perplexed why nobody has found that certificate. Do I need to draw you a map?

O, and in case you were curious, the webcam is working ... for how long is anybody's guess. There are a couple more pictures uploaded; including the love note from my lost Sara. Two people from the syracuse forums outted themselves to me. So there are no more excuses, the two feet sticking out from under the back of the tent are mine.

Amos is going to be at the booth today. Too totally cool.

Some people shouldn't drink beer because they allow their emotions to get the best of them. They really ruin it for the others.

See you tomorrow!

We were entertained by a lovely couple mauling each other on the bus ride back to Fairmount. That's part of the experience, ain't it?

We found that Miller Lite was the right beer for the fair -- tastes great *and* it's less filling! A couple of those left room for a rather disappointing funnel cake.
